So, 2012 was a busy year. For those of you who may not know, I left my job in advertising and started PartyChic with my friend Shannon. Among the chaos of life, things going on with our families and stumbling our way through starting a business, the year pretty much flew by. When I sat down to do some free Oscar printables for Catch My Party, I suddenly realized: I haven't seen one single movie nominated for an Oscar. Not one. Now, I used to be a movie buff, but I'm not even going to try to pretend anymore because honestly, I'm totally lost when it comes to this year's Oscars. I mean, I think if I were filling out a ballot, I could safely bet on Jennifer Lawrence, (and yes, I'm bias because we're both Kentucky girls--and the fact that she is incredibly good at what she does) but I'm sorry Jennifer, I still haven't gotten around to seeing Silver Linings Playbook. So, here's a new year's resolution a little late in January: get out more! :)
